Samadoyo Borosilicate Mug with Stainless Steel Lid
This beautifully crafted infuser mug makes it so easy to enjoy loose leaf teas, especially ones that can take multiple infusions!
Material: Borosilicate glass, Stainless Steel (lid)
Size: 350ml / 11.8oz
- To easily rinse out leaves, place your infuser basket in your empty mug and fill with water. Holding the basket, quickly flip your mug to empty your leaves into your sink.
- Rest the infuser basket on the Stainless Steel side of the lid between infusions.
- For accurate tea making, pour hot water to the "Samadoyo" logo on the side of the mug for 8oz of tea.
About Samadoyo: Traditional Chinese craftsmanship is combined with contemporary Danish and Japanese design.
About Borosilicate Glass: Borosilicate glass is also called "hard glass". This does not mean that the glass cannot break (it still can). Still, it is much stronger than regular glass and better resistant to chemical tarnish. Borosilicate glass can withstand extreme heath (boiling water is not a problem) or freezing temperatures, even though the glass appears to be thinner and lighter to the touch. Therefore, it’s said borosilicate glass is glass with a longer lifespan. Both the glass and filter and lid can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
I keep this at my desk, and it makes fantastic tea. I like that the lid can be used to keep the tea warm, or as a rest for the mesh basket. The basket keeps all of the tea pieces out of my tea, which has always been a pet peeve of mine! Love this mug!
