Have you ever been surprised by a delicate tea from Ceylon? We hadn't before this tea. Sweet aromas waft up from the dry leaf, and carry through to the sip. It's at once delicate, and yet somehow has beautiful sustaining flavor. Toasted walnuts, intermingling with sweet honey.
Keep an eye on your water temperature, as this will affect the mouthfeel of this tea.
How to Prepare:
Mug (8oz water):1.5 level tsp • 200º • Steep for 3 min.
Teapot: (8oz water): 1.5 level tsp • 200º • Steep for 2 min.
Resteep:2 times for 3 min.
Covered teapots retain more heat, therefore the Teapot method requires less time for steeping.
Add more tea to your taste to make the tea richer or stronger, rather than leaving the tea to steep longer than directed.
