Premium Black Tea Pure Gold

Our Premium Black Tea Pure Gold is a smooth and silky black tea with notes of molasses and fruit

Tea/Origin: Black tea (BaiHao cultivar) | China (Guangxi Province)

nut, gluten and dairy free

Caffeine level: ●●●

You'll be mesmerized by the golden buds, and the smooth silky cup they produce.

Coming from the Guangxi province in southwest China, the climate is sub-tropical and experiences much rain in the summer monsoon season. This tea is grown at 3,500 ft giving the tea bushes some much needed cooler air at night.

This tea produces a thicker liquor that feels very silky and smooth on the tongue. You'll want to let it cool slightly before you sip so the caramel-like mouthfeel can be fully appreciated. Fruity notes emerge on later steeps. We recommend Gongfu preparation for this tea (detailed instructions provided on packaging).

What makes this tea have an exceptional mouthfeel is the exclusive use of the Bai Hao bushes, typically used for highly esteemed white tea. The top buds are masterfully and skillfully collected by hand so as not to disturb the other growth on the tea bush

How to Prepare:

Mug (8oz water): 4 overflowing tsp • 195º • Steep for 3 min.

Teapot: (8oz water): 5 overflowing tsp • 195º • Steep for 2 min. *Recommended Method

Resteep: 2 times for 2 min.

Add: nothing

Covered teapots retain more heat, therefore the Teapot method requires less time for steeping.

Add more tea to your taste to make the tea richer or stronger, rather than leaving the tea to steep longer than directed.

Great as Iced Tea!

No Artificial Flavors.
No tea dust.
High quality ingredients.

Smooth and complex

This is a sophisticated tea. I prepared it gongfu style, and each steep changed the flavor profile. Even the fifth and sixth steeps were still wonderful.

A lively, light spirited black tea. Light bodied liquor. Graham cracker aroma in the dry leaf. Steep is lightly mineral, fresh water taste; rich molasses aroma but taste is slightly sweet. Gets sweeter as it cools, but oh, so hard to wait.
