Premium Oolong Tea Ti Kuan Yin

This tea has a smooth mouthfeel with nutty overtones, almost reminiscent of walnut shells. The peach-like flavor can be felt in the mid to front of the tongue.

Oolongs require a different steeping method, where water is discarded and then you can steep the tea multiple times in one sitting.

Give your tea enough room to expand. This tea will surprise you with it's big whole leaves.

Teapot Prep  (8oz water):  1 tsp • 205º

Step 1: pour hot water over tea, discard immediately.

1st infusion: 30 seconds

2nd infusion: 2 minutes

3+ infusion: 2-4 minutes

For 205º water: Boil fresh water to a soft boil where small bubbles start erupting on the surface. Pour over tea.

Steeping Tip: If you're using a paper filter for your tea on the go or for less cleanup, make sure to give the tea some space to expand, by shaking the filter to distribute the tea leaves evenly. After you shake, place the tea in your vessel and wet the tea. You'll get a more even infusion with this method.
