This Aged Raw Pu'erh defied all of our thoughts of what a raw Pu'erh might be. This Silver Needle Pu'erh is not dark or deep in it's flavor or appearance. Light notes of hay dominate the juicy mouthfeel. Light notes of Chili pepper appears in later steeps. More so the slight sweetness of chili pepper, rather than straight heat.
You'll appreciate the care that went into the production of this rare and beautiful cup. Just don't steep it once and toss, you'll break our hearts. Enjoy multiple steeps of this tea over the course of an afternoon.
How to Prepare:
Mug (8oz water):3 level tsp • 205º • quickly rinse, then 1 min. (Resteep: 2 times for 1 min, 1 time for 2 min.)
Teapot: (8oz water): 3 level tsp • 205º • quickly rinse, then 30 sec. - 30 sec - 30 sec - 30 sec - 1min - 1.5 min - 2 min.
Gong-Fu: (8oz water): Gongfu: 6 level tsp • 205º • 4oz water. quickly rinse, then 15 sec - 15sec - 30sec - 45 sec- 45sec - 45sec - 1 min - 1 min
Covered teapots retain more heat, therefore the Teapot method requires less time for steeping.
Add more tea to your taste to make the tea richer or stronger, rather than leaving the tea to steep longer than directed.
