The aroma and flavor of this tea match perfectly. Nutty pistachio and sweet marzipan drops complement each other, making this one smooth and delicious sip.
This is definitely a customer favorite!
The black tea is on the milder side, so we could enjoy this in the later afternoon without too much caffeine.
How to Prepare:
Mug (8oz water):1.5 level tsp • 205º • Steep for 4 min.
Teapot: (8oz water): 2 level tsp • 205º • Steep for 3 min.
Resteep: 1 time for 4 min.
Add: sweetener and dairy/nut milk to taste
Covered teapots retain more heat, therefore the Teapot method requires less time for steeping.
Add more tea to your taste to make the tea richer or stronger, rather than leaving the tea to steep longer than directed.
Great as Iced Tea!
No Artificial Flavors.
No tea dust.
High quality ingredients.
Wasn't sure if I should expect a dessert tea, and I'm so happy to report that this is not. There's no escaping that rich pistachio aroma and flavor (real nuts in the blend!). But robust black tea & sweet almond just adds to complexity. You can sweeten it (nice) but if your preference, like mine, is to let the flavor stand on its own, you won't be disappointed. Pro tip: inhale the aroma of the steep deeply before you start sipping because once you do, it's going to be a little hard to stop.
Smells wonderful, tastes great
This one gets bonus points for creativity! The nuttiness of the pistachios perfectly compliments the black tea and rose petals. Who'd have thought that combination would work? This is the artisans at F2C at there best.
Honestly, I wasn't sure about this one. In my mind marzipan is that almond flavored candied fruit my mom always got me on Christmas... I remember it being a bit dry and grainy (I now know it was just not well made) so I just couldn't picture how that would be in tea... and with pistachios. My first sniff of the bag got that head tipped 'oh hello!' reaction. It smelled fantastic! I made a cup and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how it tasted. It was nutty but not overwhelmingly so. It DID taste like marzipan but none of that weird gritty sort of experience I had as a kid. It was smooth and downright delicious. My mom loved it too! I would recommend this one for SURE. Thank you! I think this is now in my top ten for re-order. Thank you so much!
I enjoy this tea a lot. It has an almond taste I associate with Marzipan (with a little more sweetness than just almond). It has a bit of a caffeine kick and is a great pick me up in the morning or afternoon. Highly recommended.
